Emma Jetz is a Singer, Songwriter, and Multi-Instrumentalist. Emma is originally from a small town in southern Sweden, called Laholm. She moved to Los Angeles to continue her music career after being awarded Ted Gardestad’s music grant form SAMI in Stockholm Sweden. Emma has worked with talented artists from all over the world and she is always open to learn a new instrument or vocal styles. Emma's music has also been featured in TV shows and movies like Bones (Fox), Dirt (FX), Always Sunny In Philadelphia (FX), Strung (FX), 30 days in May (Showtime) Melt with you (Magnolia Pictures) Shameless (Showtime) to name a few.
Emma Jetz records most of her music at her studio in Los Angeles. She plays lead guitar and her sound is diverse and universal. Her guitar playing incorporates dreamy tones, with sophisticated delay patterns and ambient ebow guitar riffs. Emma’s singing style is best described as a mix between Jeff Buckley and Fiona Apple. Emma has a unique tone and timber to her voice and can perform in many languages including Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, English, German, French, Spanish and Italian.
Emma Jetz just released her new EP ‘American Citizen’ and the songs are filled with both rock and electronic tunes for many of her influnces like The Weekend, NIN and Kimbra etc. She believes being a strong women and wearing many hats is very important in today’s music and entertainment industry.
